The cello quartet joins a classical string quartet, improvisational big-band, metallic and enchanting rock-music, sensitive and emotional cello acoustic music that leaves no listener untouched. The set list includes a diversified collection of world music from different styles and times. It is the only group of its kind in Estonia. The repertoire includes pieces from the following composers: Händel, Brahms, Wagner, Popper, Lennon/Mccartney, Anderson/Ulveus, Lloyd Webber, Johann Strauss, Rannap, Valgre etc. and groups: Bon Jovi, Ac/Dc, Boney M, Status Quo…. The ensemble is made up of: Pärt Tarvas (ERSO concert-master/solo cellist) Levi-Danel Mägila (ERSO) Margus Uus (ERSO/Tallinn Chamber Orchestra) Andreas Lend (ERSO/EMTA) We play on acoustic instruments and from the beginning of 2008 also exclusive electric cellos. |
